We all wear our masks mine is just paler.

Well I needed an awkward silence breaker sentence and that was it :)

I'm from Australia and I'm fascinated by creative expression. It preoccupies me for quite a bit of the time and the time that it does not I'm lost in my own little world of day dreaming. At times creative expression is a hobby, other times an addiction, or other times therapeutic to me. I'm interested in mostly all forms of creative expression including photography, painting, drawing, printing, sculpture, face painting, make up artistry, henna art, performance art, video, design, craft, jewellery making and beading, writing stories/lyrics/poetry, music (I've been in a band and now am doing an experimental solo project) and so on :)

I like being an individual, I have a style and a personality of my own. At times I'm considered eccentric. I don't have many friends because they tend to be not of very substantial character or integrity. I'd rather one good friend than a heap of people "acting" like they are true friends.

I prefer places of peace or where one can go to think to that of the usual Saturday night party-er. I'd much prefer a movie night or board game to going out and getting completely drunken and disorderly. I love nature, places such as gardens are among some of my favourite peaceful places.

Anything else you want to know, just ask :)

Art Movies

Sun Nov 29, 2009, 6:01 AM
I'm interested in finding more movies which are about artists or contain artist characters in them. So far some of the ones on the list are Art School Confidential, Modigliani, Little Ashes, and ones that contain painting or artwork of any kind: Down to You, She's All That, In the Land of Women, Speak, Everything You Want, and I'm sure there are a tonne of others I'm missing, so suggestions anyone?
